On October 31, 2011, ITT announced the split of the ITT organization into three separately run companies, Xylem to focus on water management, a second company to focus on aerospace and defense called Exelis, and the third- ITT Corporation will focus on industrial products. ITT-Goulds Pumps remains the main player in the industrial group. The companies began trading on the New York Stock exchange on Tuesday November 1, 2011. This split will NOT affect Professional Pump’s Customers. Professional Pump continues to be the exclusive channel for Goulds Pumps to the Industrial and Power markets in the state of Michigan. Professional Pump is one of 38 Goulds Pumps distributor organizations in North America, and a proud member of the Goulds Distributor Partnership World- Wide. In addition Professional Pump, Inc. is one of only 8 Goulds “ASC’s “(Authorized Service Centers) in North America.
